The fourth item is ventilator_compliance when intubated or vocalization when extubated. ## When to use When an agent has already assigned Gélinas 2006 0-2 integers for facial expression, body movements, muscle tension, and either ventilator compliance (intubated) or vocalization (extubated) and needs the published total, not a pain diagnosis, analgesic order, or later intensity cutoff. ## When not to use - Not a medical device and not a pain diagnosis or analgesic order. - Each item is a caller-assigned integer 0, 1, or 2 from Gélinas 2006. magent does not observe the patient. - Not PAINAD.
