Not a diagnosis, dose, or listing recommendation. ## What it computes Compute the RCP 2012 National Early Warning Score from respiratory rate, SpO2, supplemental oxygen, temperature, systolic BP, heart rate, and caller-assigned AVPU. ## When to use When an agent needs the published RCP NEWS 2012 Chart 1 total and Chart 2 clinical risk and must not substitute NEWS2 or treat the score as an ICU-admission order. ## When not to use - Not a medical device and not an ICU-admission, HDU, or monitoring order. magent does not examine the patient. - This is RCP NEWS 2012 Chart 1 only. It is not NEWS2 (2017), Scale 2 oxygen saturations, or new-confusion scoring. - AVPU is caller-assigned (alert, voice, pain, or unresponsive).
